The product combines assessments, personalized resources, and analytics to guide individuals to the right care while giving care teams clear insights to track risk and outcomes at scale.

THE BRIEF

A major insurance and financial company saw rising disability claims among physically demanding workforces and asked NeuroFlow to design a digital experience to reduce those claims through early intervention.


Disability leave is costly for both employers and the insurance company, so the goal was to help people stay at work.


The insurance company challenged us to create a proactive, accessible, and trustworthy solution. This became the first iteration of “Smart Guide,” a scalable product later adapted for multiple enterprise clients.

A Story-Driven Landing Page

  • Crafted approachable content to resonate across demographics

  • Highlighted familiar user pain points in the UI to help users immediately see themselves in the experience

  • Addressed common concerns like privacy and data-sharing with clean, accessible UI

  • Utilized a soft approachable color palette to appeal to a wide audience

The consumer facing landing page told a clear story:

  4. Risk levels mapped to curated content, programs, and referrals


Personalized Smart Referrals

Users were guided to employer-specific programs and activities based on assessment outcomes.

  1. Low risk? Engaging self-care content.

  2. Moderate risk? Targeted guidance with optional support.

  3. High risk? Immediate connection to care coordinators or the employer’s Stay-At-Work program.

    This wasn't just content routing—it was an adaptive care path designed to meet users where they were.


From Custom to Scalable Product

Commercialization

The initial launch was just the beginning. I worked with engineering, clinical, and product leaders to transform this experience into the Smart Guide platform—a repeatable design system that we rapidly adapted for:

  • Health systems with unique branding needs

We created a framework that allowed each client to launch quickly with tailored UX and design while preserving core functionality.

Results & Impact

Unlocked a new 7-figure deal and established a net-new revenue stream for NeuroFlow, demonstrating the scalability and impact of a personalized, proactive wellness solution across multiple enterprise clients.
